Is the Osprey Daylite Jr Worth It?
Best preschool and kindergarten backpack. For the youngest children the Daylite Jr fits and carries like a proper pack rather than a toy, and Osprey will fix or replace it for life. It is outgrown by second or third grade.
Osprey Daylite Jr Pros & Cons
Pros
- Best-fitting pack on the 7-year-old — chest strap and mesh back
- Lifetime guarantee covering any damage
- Two bottle pockets and a key clip

Cons
- 10 L is small — a folder and lunch box, not binders
- No reflective trim
- $50 for a small pack
