How we make money

RankingRight earns money one way: when you click a link to a product we ranked and buy it, the company pays us a commission. The price you pay is the same. Amazon links pay us as an Amazon Associate; software links pay through affiliate networks (Impact, CJ, Awin, PartnerStack) or the company's own program.

What that does not change

  • Scores. Every score is computed from sub-scores recorded in a test, and the test is locked before any affiliate link is attached. A product with no affiliate program is scored the same way and can win.
  • Rank. Winners are the top five scores in a category. Nobody can buy a rank, a badge or a "sponsored" slot, and there is no advertising on ranking pages.
  • What we say. Non-winners get an honest review with "where it lost" and "still right for". We never call a product bad, and we never hide one because it doesn't pay.

Where the disclosure is

Above the first button on every ranking, review, comparison and geo page — not in the footer. Amazon pages carry Amazon's required wording: "As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases."

Deals and coupons

Deals appear only inside the product's own card, with the expiry shown, and only for products we have actually scored. We do not publish coupon pages.
