Best Unlimited Data eSIMs

What separates the unlimited data eSIM picks?

Three plans, three different jobs. Saily scores 8.8 and starts at $22.99, with an unlimited 30-day option at $54.99. It roams across several US carriers, so it switched networks when one weakened, and it bundles ad and malware blocking into the eSIM profile. The trade-offs: it is a newer service with a shorter record than Airalo, and there is no US phone number.

US Mobile scores 8.6 at $17.50 a month for unlimited on the Starter plan. It is a real US carrier plan delivered as an eSIM: you pick the network, including Verizon, which no travel eSIM here offers, and you get a US number with real calls and texts. It is United States only, and activation took nine minutes because of the identity check.

Holafly scores 7.7 at $99 a month. It is genuinely unlimited — 61 GB used in a month with no cut-off — and it has 24/7 support with a human, which no other provider here offered. Plans run from one day to 90 days. The catch: $99 a month is poor value under about 40 GB of use, and hotspot is capped on some plans.

What should you check before buying an unlimited data eSIM?

The scoring criteria weight coverage and network quality at 30, price per gigabyte at 25, setup and activation at 15, flexibility at 15 and support at 15. Read your own trip against those weights.

• Where you are going. US Mobile is United States only — useless the moment you cross a border. Saily and Holafly travel.
• Whether you need a number. Only US Mobile includes a US number with real calls and texts.
• How much data you actually burn. Holafly's $99 only makes sense above roughly 40 GB of use.
• Hotspot rules. Holafly caps hotspot on some plans, so read the specific plan before you buy.
• Setup time. US Mobile's identity check took nine minutes; budget for it if you are activating at the airport.
