What problem does the Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Extend solve?
The daily problem this seat solves is the reach-and-twist of buckling a child into a rear-facing seat. The Revolve360 rotates to face the door, so you load and tighten the harness from outside the car instead of leaning across the seat. Where the Revolve360 falls short
Size in small cars is where it lost points. The seat is heavy and tall, and it dominated the Civic back seat in our testing. Rotation also needs clearance, so you should check your car before buying: the seat has to swing, and in a tight cabin it may not have the room it needs. The cup holders are flimsy.
Is the Revolve360 worth $429.99?
The price is $429.99. In our Value criterion, which divides price by usable years against the field, the seat scored 12 out of 20. The ten-year life and the booster mode to 120 lb spread that cost over a long period, but the rotating mechanism and the 32 lb seat weight are what you are paying for, and cheaper seats in this test score higher overall.
