Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket (20L, White) review 2027
20-liter bucket-style warmer that fits a full bath towel or robe, with a 4-setting timer and auto shut-off
Is the Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket Worth It?
Best towel warmer. This is the Large version of Zadro's towel-warmer bucket, sized for a full bath towel or robe — worth checking you're not looking at the smaller Medium model, which is a different, cheaper product with its own following.
Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket Pros & Cons
- Sized for a full 40x70 in bath towel or robe per the manufacturer spec — larger than Zadro's own Medium model
- 15/30/45/60-minute timer settings with auto shut-off
- Bucket design needs no wall mounting
- Zadro also sells a smaller, cheaper "Medium" bucket under a similar name — don't confuse the two
- Current price varies noticeably by retailer; we could not confirm one firm figure
- No independently confirmed outlet review found for this exact Large model
What problem does the Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket solve?
The Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket is a 20-liter bucket-style warmer that fits a full bath towel or robe, with a 4-setting timer and auto shut-off. It solves a simple problem: a cold towel or robe after a shower or bath, without installing a wall-mounted rail. The bucket design needs no wall mounting, so it can sit on the floor or a shelf and be moved when needed.
It is the Large version of Zadro's towel-warmer bucket, sized for a full bath towel or robe. That distinction matters, because Zadro also sells a smaller, cheaper Medium bucket under a similar name, and the two are different products. If you want the capacity described here, confirm you are buying the Large model.
How did it score 7.1 out of 10?
The overall score of 7.1 comes from five weighted criteria.
- Materials & build: 22 out of 30. This measures manufacturer-published material, construction and durability specs. The metal bucket housing is the main point in its favor.
- Functionality: 21 out of 25. This measures how well it does its specific job — grip, drainage, capacity, cleaning power. The 40x70 in capacity and the 15/30/45/60-minute timer settings with auto shut-off carry this category.
- Independent review consensus: 10 out of 20. This measures genuinely confirmed praise or a rating from a named review outlet or the maker's own verified customer-rating count. No independently confirmed outlet review was found for this exact Large model, which holds the score down.
- Ease of care: 12 out of 15. This covers installation, cleaning and maintenance. The bucket design needs no wall mounting, which keeps installation simple.
- Value: 6 out of 10. This weighs price against materials and capacity. The price varies noticeably by retailer, and no firm figure could be confirmed.
What are the standout strengths?
Three things stand out. First, capacity: it is sized for a full 40x70 in bath towel or robe per the manufacturer spec, which is larger than Zadro's own Medium model. Second, the timer: 15/30/45/60-minute settings with auto shut-off give you control over how long it runs. Third, the form: the bucket design needs no wall mounting, so it does not require drilling or a free wall section.
For anyone who wants a warm towel or robe without a wall-mounted rail, those three points are the core of the case for this unit.
What is it made of, and how big is it?
The published specs are short and specific.
- Type: Towel warmer
- Material: Metal bucket housing
- Dimensions: 12 in dia x 21 in tall
- Capacity: 1 large 40x70 in towel or robe
That is a floor-standing or shelf-standing bucket roughly a foot across and under two feet tall, holding one large towel or robe at a time.
How does it compare with other tested bathroom essentials?
Against the SONGMICS 3-Tier Bamboo Over-the-Toilet Storage (8.1, $64.99), the Zadro scores lower overall, but the two do different jobs: the SONGMICS is a bamboo storage shelf rated to 33 lb per shelf, while the Zadro is a metal towel warmer. If your need is storage rather than warmth, the SONGMICS is the higher-scoring pick.
Against the OXO Good Grips 3-Tier Aluminum Shower Caddy (7.6, $59.99), the Zadro again scores lower. The OXO is an anodized aluminum shower organizer with a tool-free hook-and-suction install and a large-capacity basket. It organizes a shower; the Zadro warms a towel.
Against the simplehuman Adjustable Shower Caddy (7.6, $60), the pattern is the same. The simplehuman is rust-proof stainless steel and anodized aluminum with a quick-adjust dial and a 5-year warranty, at roughly a third of the Zadro's price. The Zadro's advantage is that it does something none of these three rivals do: it warms a full 40x70 in towel or robe.

Where does it fall short?
Three real limitations. First, the naming: Zadro also sells a smaller, cheaper Medium bucket under a similar name, so it is easy to buy the wrong one. Second, the price varies noticeably by retailer, and no firm figure could be confirmed. Third, no independently confirmed outlet review was found for this exact Large model, which is why the independent review consensus criterion scored 10 out of 20.
Is the price fair for what you get?
The price summary is roughly $169.99–$199.99, varying by retailer. Weigh that against the specs: a metal bucket housing, 12 in dia x 21 in tall, holding one large 40x70 in towel or robe, with 15/30/45/60-minute timer settings and auto shut-off. The value criterion scored 6 out of 10, reflecting a price that moves around and a lack of confirmed independent review coverage.
Who should buy the Zadro Large Hot Towel Warmer Bucket?
It is still right for anyone wanting a warm towel or robe without a wall-mounted rail. If you have the space for a 12 in dia x 21 in tall bucket and want to warm one full 40x70 in towel or robe at a time, this is the model to look at — just make sure you are buying the Large version and not the smaller, cheaper Medium bucket sold under a similar name.
