My Space Organizers Clear Acrylic Desk Organizer (9-compartment) review 2027

What problem does the My Space Organizers Clear Acrylic Desk Organizer solve?

It solves the everyday problem of desk clutter you can't see through. The unit is a clear acrylic desk organizer with 9 compartments, including a dedicated phone slot, so the things you reach for most — phone, pens, notes, small tools — each get a defined place instead of drifting across the work surface. Because the acrylic is clear, you can see what is in every compartment at a glance rather than opening drawers or lifting lids to check.

That visibility is the core benefit. The organizer was named a pick in Forbes Vetted's desk organizer roundup, which is the kind of independent recognition that matters when a category is crowded with near-identical trays.

It is not a storage system for deep archives. It is a surface-level sorting tool for people who want their daily carry and desk tools visible and within reach. If your clutter problem is "I can't find anything because it's all in a pile," this addresses it directly.

How did it score 6.4 out of 10?

We scored it across five criteria, each with its own maximum.

• Materials & build — 18 out of 30. This criterion measures manufacturer-published material, construction and capacity specs. The material is specified and the capacity is stated, but acrylic is a lighter-duty choice than metal, which holds the score back.
• Functionality — 19 out of 25. This measures how well it does its specific job: adjustability, brightness, tracking, holding power. For an organizer, the relevant question is whether the compartments actually hold what they claim. A 9-compartment layout with a dedicated phone slot is a functional design, and it earned the strongest sub-score of the five.
• Independent review consensus — 12 out of 20. This criterion counts only genuinely confirmed hands-on testing read from the outlet's own page, never a second-hand aggregator claim. The Forbes Vetted pick is real recognition, but a single confirmed roundup mention is a modest base, so the score sits in the middle.
• Durability & warranty — 10 out of 15. This measures warranty length and weight or load ratings. No manufacturer warranty was found, and no load rating is published, which caps this score despite the stated construction.
• Value — 5 out of 10. This measures price against materials and capability. The current USD price could not be independently confirmed at publish time, so value cannot be fully credited.

The total is 6.4 out of 10, ranking it 10th among the 13 products tested in this category.

What are the standout strengths?

Three concrete strengths came out of testing and research.

First, the Forbes Vetted recognition. Being named a pick in that outlet's desk organizer roundup is independent editorial validation, and it is the reason this unit is on the list at all rather than being an anonymous listing.

Second, the 9-compartment layout. That is a genuinely high compartment count for a single desktop organizer, and the dedicated phone slot means the largest item on most desks has a purpose-built home rather than being balanced on top of a tray.

Third, the clear acrylic construction. It shows contents at a glance, which is the whole point of a see-through organizer. You do not have to remember which compartment holds the tape or the spare pens — you look and you know.

Where does it fall short?

The drawbacks are real and worth weighing before you buy.

The current USD price could not be independently confirmed at publish time. That is unusual for a product review, and it means you should check the live listing rather than trusting any figure you see quoted elsewhere. Without a confirmed price, the value score cannot be settled.

Acrylic can scratch or crack more easily than metal organizers. If you move your desk accessories around often, or if the organizer shares space with heavier metal objects, the surface will show wear faster than a steel equivalent would.

No manufacturer warranty was found. For a product in this price band that is not disqualifying, but it does mean you are relying on the retailer's return policy if something arrives damaged or fails early.

These three issues — unconfirmed price, acrylic durability, and no warranty — are exactly where it lost ground in scoring.

Who should buy the My Space Organizers Clear Acrylic Desk Organizer?

It is right for anyone wanting to see everything on their desk at a glance. If your priority is visibility and a place for each daily item — phone included — the clear acrylic build and 9 compartments deliver that directly.

It is less suited to buyers who need a warranty-backed purchase, who want metal construction that resists scratching, or who need a confirmed price before committing. Those buyers should look at the alternatives in this category, where monitor arms and chairs with published warranties and confirmed pricing scored higher overall.

If you can confirm the live price and you value seeing your desk contents without opening anything, this organizer does its job.
