GoDaddy vs Namecheap (2027)
The two registrars most people have heard of. Both include WHOIS privacy and support hundreds of TLDs. The difference is what a .com costs at renewal and how much the checkout tries to add.

Our verdict
Namecheap costs $6 a year less per .com, does not pre-tick add-ons, and its chat support was as fast as GoDaddy's phones. GoDaddy is the right choice only when a phone number and one bill for domain, email and hosting is worth the premium.
